Terms & Conditions

Steak Locker accept returns or items within the first 30 days of receiving your product. You may return it for a prompt merchandise exchange, credit, or refund within 30 days of receiving your order if all merchandise is returned in new condition (unused and in original factory condition), with all original boxes (including all packaging materials), documentation, instructions, and accessories.

All returns are subject to our inspection and approval. Personalized and custom items, and shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
All returns MUST HAVE SALES RECEIPT. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused item(s) in the original packing within 15 days of the purchase for a refund. You will be credited the purchase price, less a 25% restocking fee and the applicable shipping charges.

EACH UNIT MUST BE UN-PACKED AND INSPECTED FOR DAMAGES PRIOR TO SIGNING AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY ISSUES WITH THE SHIPMENT, PLEASE REFUSE SHIPMENT AT THAT TIME AND CONTACT STEAK LOCKER AT SUPPORT@STEAKLOCKER.COM. *Per our Warranty; Original Packaging & Pallet must be retained for returned or repaired SL lockers up to one year

To return and item for a refund or exchange, simply contact our Customer Service Department to initiate a return by calling us during service business hours at +1 619-736-0542 or email us at support@steaklocker.com .
Once you obtain your return instructions, you have 15 days in which to get the product back to us. You are responsible for arranging the return shipment of the product. We reserve the right to deny a full refund of the purchase price if the product is not returned in this manner.

Items that are returned incur a 15% restocking fee. If damaged or without proper packaging materials the fee will rise to 30%. For all returns and cancellations that “shipped free” a shipping charge equal to the cost of the round trip of the shipment will be withheld from the refund. It is important to save all packaging and not destroy boxes in case of a return.

Please Note: For all damage, wrong items, missing items, or defects, please contact customer service right away for return or replacement instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

PRE-ORDERS.

All pre-orders are final sales and are not covered under the return policy. Pre-orders are especially discounted orders that are reliant on first delivery from manufacturer. This can be delayed for up
to 90
120 days. All pre-ordered Steak Locker Units incur a 25% restocking fee if cancelled due to the nature of the item and the pre-order process and value.

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Downloadable software products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@steaklocker.com

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he will find out about your
return.
SHIPPING POLICY
To return your product, you should email to support@steaklocker.com to coordinate your return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasi
ng shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Warranty Specification and Procedures 2018 v.18.2.1 (Per legal page on www.steaklocker.com as of January 01, 2020)

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

Bruno Investments LLC dba/ Steak Locker or ELA (BIL). of 1225 Island Ave, San Diego, CA 92101,
USA (“Steak Locker”) warrants the Steak Locker-branded product and accessories contained in

the original packaging (“Steak Locker Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Steak Locker’s published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). Steak Locker’s published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

This Warranty does not apply to any non-Steak Locker branded products or any software, even if packaged or sold with Steak Locker products. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than Steak Locker, may provide their own warranties to you please contact them for further information. Software distributed by Steak Locker with or without the Steak Locker brand (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered by this Warranty. Please refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use. Steak Locker does not warrant that the operation of the Steak Locker Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Steak Locker is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Steak Locker Product’s use. This Warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic; (c) to damage caused by use with another product; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause; (e) to damage caused by operating the Steak LockerProduct outside Steak Locker’s published guidelines; (f ) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Steak Locker or a Steak Locker Authorized Service Provider (“SLSP”); (g) to a Steak Locker Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Steak Locker; (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Steak Locker Product, or (i) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Steak Locker Product.

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR STEAKLOCKER SERVICE.
Steak Locker may restrict warranty service to the country where Steak Locker or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

YOU SHOULD MAKE PERIODIC CHECKUPS OF YOUR STEAK LOCKER PRODUCT AS A PRECAUTION AGAINST POSSIBLE OPERATIONAL FAILURES.
You must have the controller connected or synced to your WIFI system to receive warning messages from our backup systems.

Before receiving warranty service, Steak Locker or its agents may require that you furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Steak Locker’s procedures for obtaining warranty service. Before submitting your Steak Locker Product for warranty service, you should remove all personal information that you want to protect.

DURING WARRANTY SERVICE STEAKLOCKER AND ITS AGENTS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DATA OR OTHER PRODUCT ON ANY PART OF THE STEAKLOCKER PRODUCT SERVICED.

Following warranty service your Steak Locker Product or a replacement device will be returned to you as your Steak Locker Product was configured when originally purchased, subject to applicable updates. Steak Locker may install system software updates as part of warranty service that will prevent the Steak Locker Product from reverting to an earlier version of the system software. Third party applications installed on the Steak Locker Product may not be compatible or work with the Steak Locker Product because of the system software update. You will be responsible for reinstalling all other software programs, data, and information. Recovery and re-installation of other software programs, data and information are not covered under this Warranty. Important: Do not open the Steak Locker Product. Opening the Steak Locker Product may cause damage that is not covered by this Warranty. Only Steak Locker or an SLSP should perform service on this Steak Locker Product.

WHAT WILL STEAKLOCKER DO IN THE EVENT THE WARRANTY IS BREACHED?

If during the Warranty Period you submit a valid claim to Steak Locker or an SLSP, Steak Locker will,
at its option, (i) repair the Steak Locker Product using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, (ii) replace the Steak Locker Product with a device that is at least functionally equivalent to the Steak Locker Product and is formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or (iii) exchange the Steak Locker Product for

a refund of your purchase price.
Steak Locker may request that you replace certain user-installable parts or Steak Locker Products.
A replacement part or Steak Locker Product, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by Steak Locker, assumes the remaining term of the Warranty or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a Steak Locker Product or part is

replaced or a refund provided, any replacement item becomes your property, and the replaced or refunded item becomes Steak Locker’s property.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?

Please access and review the on-line help resources described below before seeking warranty service.
If the Steak Locker Product is still not functioning properly after making use of these resources, please contact a Steak Locker representative or, if applicable, a Steak Locker
owned retail store (“Steak Locker Retail”) or SLSP, using the information provided below. A Steak Locker representative or SLSP will help determine whether your Steak Locker Product requires service and, if it does, will inform you how Steak Locker will provide it. When contacting Steak Locker via telephone, other charges may apply depending on your location. Online information with details on obtaining warranty service is provided below.

WARRANTY SERVICE OPTIONS

Steak Locker will provide warranty service through one or more of the following options: (i) Carry-in service. You may return your Steak Locker Product to a Steak Locker Retail or SLSP location offering carry-in service. Service will be performed at the location. Once you are notified that service

is complete, you will promptly retrieve the Steak Locker Product from the Steak Locker Retail or SLSP location. (ii) Mail-in service. If your Steak Locker Product requires mail-in service, Steak Locker will send you information where to send your Steak Locker Product. Once service is complete, Steak Locker will return the Steak Locker Product to you. Steak Locker does not cover shipping to and from your location.

(iii) Do-it-yourself (DIY) parts service. DIY parts service allows you to service your own Steak Locker Product. If DIY parts service is available in the circumstances, the following process will apply.
(a) Service where Steak Locker requires return of the replaced Steak Locker Product or part.

Steak Locker may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement Steak Locker Product or part and applicable shipping costs. If you are unable to provide credit card authorization, DIY parts service may not be available to you and Steak Locker will offer alternative arrangements for service. Steak Locker will ship a replacement Steak Locker Product or part to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced Steak Locker Product or part. If you follow the instructions, Steak Locker will cancel the credit card authorization, so you will not be charged for the Steak Locker Product or part. If you fail to return the replaced Steak Locker Product or part as instructed or return a replaced Steak Locker Product or part that is ineligible for service, Steak Locker will charge your credit card for the authorized amount.

(b) Service where Steak Locker does not require return of the replaced Steak Locker Product or part. Steak Locker will ship you free of charge a replacement Steak Locker

Product or part accompanied by instructions on installation, if applicable, and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced Steak Locker Product or part.

(c) Steak Locker is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY parts service. Should you require further assistance, contact Steak Locker at Support@Steaklocker.com . Steak Locker reserves the right to change the method by which Steak Locker may provide warranty service to you, and your Steak Locker Product’s eligibility to receive a particular method of service. Service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested. Service options, parts availability and response times may vary according to country. You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the Steak Locker Product cannot be serviced in the country it is in. If you seek service in a country that is not the original country of purchase, you will comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. and other associated taxes and charges. Where international service is available, Steak Locker may repair or replace Steak Locker Products and parts with comparable Steak Locker

Product and parts that comply with local standards. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEAKLOCKER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL;

LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE STEAKLOCKER PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE STEAK LOCKER PRODUCT.

THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. STEAKLOCKER DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY STEAKLOCKER PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR REPLACE THE STEAKLOCKER PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF INFORMATION STORED IN THE STEAKLOCKER PRODUCT.

SOME STATES (COUNTRIES AND PROVINCES) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
