STEAK LOCKER ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

IN SHORT

Steak Locker Global warrants your Steak Locker dry-aging refrigerator against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a covered defect appears, we will repair, replace, or refund the unit at our option. This warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, damage from misuse, or the value of food or product stored inside the unit. Nothing here limits the rights you may have under the laws of your state or country.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE USING YOUR PRODUCT

By using your Steak Locker product you agree to be bound by the terms of this One (1) Year Limited Warranty ("Warranty"). If you do not agree, do not use the product and return it within the return period stated in our Refund Policy.

HOW CONSUMER LAW RELATES TO THIS WARRANTY

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state or by country. Other than as permitted by law, Steak Locker Global does not exclude, limit, or suspend other rights you may have, including those arising from the non-conformity of a sales contract. For a full understanding of your rights, you should consult the laws of your state or country. To the extent permitted by law, this Warranty and its remedies are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express, or implied. Where implied warranties cannot be disclaimed, they are limited to the duration of this Warranty.

WHO PROVIDES THIS WARRANTY

This Warranty is provided by Steak Locker Global of 16 North Central, Suite 200, Clayton, MO 63105, USA ("Steak Locker," "we," "us," or "our"). Steak Locker Global, or its successor in title, is the warrantor under this Warranty.

WHAT IS COVERED

We warrant your Steak Locker-branded dry-aging refrigerator (including the Studio, Home, and Pro models) and the Steak Locker-branded accessories supplied in the original packaging (the "Product") against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Steak Locker's published guidelines, for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser (the "Warranty Period"). Steak Locker's published guidelines include the technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications we provide.

UNITS SOLD AS DISPLAY, OPEN-BOX, OR COSMETICALLY BLEMISHED

Units sold as display models, floor models, demo units, open-box, or cosmetically blemished are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit, as stated in our Refund Policy. They do, however, carry the same one-year functional Warranty as every other unit we sell: the cosmetic condition disclosed at the time of sale is excluded from coverage, but functional defects in materials and workmanship are covered in full. Warranty coverage of a functional defect does not create any right to return, exchange, or refund the unit; your sole remedies are those described under "What We Will Do" above.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This Warranty does not cover: (a) cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, and broken or discolored trim or plastic; (b) consumable or wear parts, such as filters, gaskets, seals, or coatings designed to diminish over time, unless they failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (c) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, power surges, liquid contact, fire, flood, earthquake, or other external causes; (d) damage caused by operating the Product outside Steak Locker's published guidelines, including improper installation, ventilation, voltage, or ambient conditions; (e) damage caused by service, repair, modification, or alteration performed by anyone who is not Steak Locker or a Steak Locker Authorized Service Provider ("SLSP"); (f) any Product whose serial number has been removed or defaced; (g) defects arising from normal wear and tear; (h) non-Steak Locker branded products, software, or accessories, even if sold or packaged with the Product; and (i) the loss, spoilage, or diminished value of any food, meat, or other product stored in the Product. See "Limitation of Liability" below regarding food and product loss.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You should make periodic checks of your Steak Locker product as a precaution against possible operational issues. Your Product's smart controller must be connected to and synced with your Wi-Fi network for you to receive temperature, humidity, and fault alerts from our monitoring and backup systems; alerts cannot be delivered if the controller is offline, your network is down, or notifications are disabled. Before receiving warranty service, you may be asked to provide proof of purchase, answer diagnostic questions, and follow our service procedures. Do not open the Product — opening it may cause damage not covered by this Warranty. Only Steak Locker or an SLSP should service the Product.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

Before requesting service, please review the online help resources we provide. If the Product is still not functioning properly, contact us at support@steaklocker.com or +1 619-736-0542 with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We will help determine whether your Product requires service and, if so, how we will provide it.

WHAT WE WILL DO

If you submit a valid claim during the Warranty Period, Steak Locker will, at its option: (i) repair the Product using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability; (ii) replace the Product with a unit that is at least functionally equivalent and formed from new and/or previously used parts equivalent to new in performance and reliability; or (iii) refund the purchase price in exchange for return of the Product. A replacement Product or part assumes the remaining term of the Warranty or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer. When a Product or part is replaced or refunded, the replacement becomes your property and the replaced or refunded item becomes our property.

SERVICE OPTIONS AND SHIPPING

We may provide warranty service through carry-in service at an authorized location, mail-in service, or do-it-yourself replacement parts, depending on the Product and your location. For mail-in or parts service, we will provide instructions on where to send the Product or how to install a replacement part. Unless otherwise stated by us in writing, you are responsible for shipping and handling charges to and from the service location. Per our Refund Policy, the original packaging and pallet must be retained for one year so the Product can be safely shipped for warranty service or repair. Service options and response times may vary by country.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except as provided in this Warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Steak Locker is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or under any other legal theory. This includes, without limitation, loss of use; loss of revenue or profits; loss of business or goodwill; and — specifically — the loss, spoilage, or diminished value of any meat, food, or other product stored in the Product, including product lost as a result of a Product failure, power interruption, or your failure to receive or act on an alert. We strongly recommend that you keep your controller connected and that you do not store irreplaceable product in any single appliance without independent monitoring. This limitation does not apply to death or personal injury claims, or to any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

TRANSFERABILITY AND REGISTRATION

This Warranty extends only to the original end-user purchaser and is not transferable. We encourage you to keep your sales receipt and to register your Product so we can support you more quickly if a claim arises.

GOVERNING LAW

This Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where the law of your place of purchase requires otherwise.

GENERAL

No Steak Locker reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality and enforceability of the remaining terms will not be affected. Steak Locker does not warrant that operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.
