Wish It Came With the Smart App

The dry aging is spot on — humidity and temp stay locked in. I’ve done two full rounds of short ribs and they turned out better than anything I’ve had at a steakhouse. My only real wish? That it came with the same smart app the Pro models have. Would love to check in on my meat from the road.

Tight and Accurate

The Studio Edition fits right under my counter and blends in perfectly. It’s quiet, holds steady temps, and the dry aging results are just incredible. I’ve done beef ribs and even some duck breast. Only issue? The shelf spacing can be a little tight with large cuts, but once you get the layout right, it’s gold.

Perfect size Dry Ager

Couldn’t ask for a better steak ager. Holds the temperature and humidity steady. I aged over 50lbs Short Loin, Rib Eye and NY Strip for 45 days to perfection. Had a great steak party and all my guests now want one. I also ground a portion of ribeye and strip loin and made exceptional hamburgers. Very pleased with my purchse

Great Dry Aging Unit

Bought the Steak Locker Studio fridge over a month ago and so far it works like a charm. I am very pleased the way it holds the temperature and humidity consistently. This unit is rated for 45lbs capacity by the manufacturer, but it easily holds 55+ lbs of meat (See pic below). I hung 22bs T-Bone primal, 23lbs NY-Strip and 4lbs Tenderloin. On the bottom shelve I have 6lbs Picahna and 2lbs tenderloin cap. I tried the T_Bone last night for the first time and it was fantastic! Loved the way my steak came out.. I am contemplating of buying another unit soon for curing charcuteries.

Small Steps

Messed around with bags and a cheap version of a plastic box from Steak Ager Atlanta. This smallest version is stainless steel all over and has a great feel to it. It's also good knowing they have other versions but more important, the service. Had called twice, got thru once and second time the chat box was very active. So far 5 stars.

Could have sold more.

The steak locker is great. I have some ribeye's going right now. I do feel my I would have purchased the WiFi controller if I knew it didn't come with one. Great add on sale for you guys if you advertise that. I do still want to purchase one.

45 Days to Go!

Received the Steak Locker Studio on Wednesday afternoon, and by that night, we had $500 of ribeye in the unit... I can see the meat starting to do its thing and looking forward to our first dry aged steak for Christmas Eve. The displays and controls are pretty simple to go though, I figured it out mostly by myself. The instructions could of been a little clearer, but overall, once I figured it out, it was simple. So far so good!

However, we do sell Steak Locker Smart Aging Controllers that provide the user with the smart app and constant operational parameters as well as safety and operational Alerts.

The Studio Edition has a max capacity of 45lb. However, it would be wiser to operate on the lower range as it would require the operator to change them location of the cuts on a daily basis so all areas are fiully and safely dry aged.
